Charlotte Ross

Charlotte Ross (born January 21, 1968) is an American actress. She starred in NYPD Blue as Detective Connie McDowell from 2001 to 2004. She also appeared on Days of Our Lives as Eve Donovan from 1987 to 1991. Some of her other television credits include The Heights, The Five Mrs. Buchanans, Drexel's Class, Married... with Children, Pauly, Trinity, Beggars and Choosers, and Jake in Progress.

Biography

The daughter of Peter (a financial consultant) and Debbie Ross (a ski instructor), Charlotte was raised in Winnetka, Illinois. Charlotte's first theater performance was at the age of 8 in My First Mouthpiece. As a young woman, she performed in productions at her hometown theater. She attended New Trier High School and later moved to Los Angeles. On October 18, 2003, she married Michael Goldman and has since given birth to one child, Maxwell Ross Goldman. She has one younger brother, George; he is a writer, triathlete and hedge fund-analyst in NYC.
Charlotte Ross has supported PETA's campaign for "I'd Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur" by posing naked, exposing her buttocks under the title "I'd Rather Show My Buns Than Wear Fur".

Trivia

In addition to singing and acting, Charlotte is a licensed Tae-Bo instructor. She was born within 2 months of another American actor, Christopher Collet; and within 6 months of a third, former 1970s Mouseketeer Mindy Feldman (during the same year on both counts).
